I played the game of Monopoly as a child. My strategy was to buy every property and fill them with houses. Maybe that is why I always felt so comfortable in the Real Estate business. I purchased my first rental property at the age of 24, and 2 more in the next 2 years after that. When my 3 children went off to school, I took the RE test and got my license. It was very satisfying for me to be a part of finding that right home for the folks I worked with. Of course, selling opened up new challenges for me. It was all very exciting to be a part of the market. I made wonderful friends along the way. I really believe that "home is where the heart is". This is what motivates me.
In my free time, I enjoy gardening, biking, hiking and most of all dancing. I have taken lessons in Swing, Ballroom, Disco, Latin and finally, Country, both partner and line. I have met wonderful friends and if you are looking for a great combination of exercise mixed with social, this is it.
Natural health and wellness have been a lifelong passion. I read and take classes in nutrition. People who know me say I am a good bargain hunter. I care about the earth we live in so being Green is my choice.
I have 3 amazing adult children, my biggest contribution to this world. One is a Biophysicist and 2 are teachers. To say that I am proud is an understatement. I spent most of my time, when they were growing up, getting them involved in everything from piano lessons, voice, and a multitude of sports. I even coached their soccer leagues. We were avid readers. They all worked hard to be where they are today.
I am a member of the New Horizon and Ascend groups. We get together to support one another and also organize bike rides, picnics and many other social events. We also do fund raisers. It just goes along with what I do best, helping folks find what they need in this life.
