This transaction took longer than most due to an unforseen event with the seller's family. This event took place one day before closing. Through it all Gayle was very patient, a great listener, and would always provide timely respones to my many e-mails and phone calls. Gayle provides a level of customer service that most people these days have never experienced, and you have to be a certain age to remember. I dragged poor Gayle through far too many homes and she always made herself available. I remember being very impressed when we would look at a home and instead of thinking of 'making the sale' Gayle would point out obvious defects in the home. Defects that I hadn't even noticed and she would caution me as to the possible serious nature of these problems. Honesty and Integrity like hers is sadly, very rarely seen today in any industry. Gayle's knowledge of home selling saved me from several pitfalls and prevented untimely delays. During the home inspection I was under a stringent timeline when the home inspector forgot his radon test canisters. Gayle was able to provide the inspector with the name of a local radon company, off the top of her head, that could provide the needed canisters and even had a secure night box so the test could be analyzed over a weekend. The home inspector was unaware of this local company or the weekend service they provide. It's Gayle's knowledge of these types of things that stand her above her peers. On several occassions the seller's agent forgot to put stipulated items into the P&S, Gayle noticed the omissions right away and was sure I got everything that was agreed upon. There were so many similar examples that are just too long to include here. Gayle Dawson is a true professional and a one of a kind.
