My wife and I had long planned on getting into the real estate market. She made the transition five years ago. We both love anything to do with real estate. We currently reside in a golf community in North Georgia. Originally from South Florida, I've lived here for more than two decades. My previous career afforded me the opportunity to travel all over the US and surrounding countries. While there are many great places to live, we are both convinced that none compare to North Georgia.
We anticipate many more new residents from other areas moving to Atlanta in the next few years, and look forward to working with them to find a home that will help make this just as exciting a place to live for them as it been has for us. About 75% of our customers are out-of-towners relocating to Atlanta. A significant number of them are moving from coastal areas (for a lot of good reasons) including Florida, where I grew up. I well understand the challenges they face.
Traveling and working with customers from all over this great country has helped me learn to deal with different cultures and different values. The key is to listen and find out what they want, not what you want for them. After investigating a myriad of real estate companies, I'm convinced that ZipRealty represents the best of what this industry has to offer both now and in the future, for their people and especially, for their customers. Even without our rebate to buyers who work with us, and our commission for sellers, this would still be the best company to work with.
