As a native Texan from Odessa, TX and Seminole, TX, I moved to Tyler, TX in 1966 and then to Forney, TX in 1973. I was elected Mayor of Forney in 1975 and re-elected in 1981. I got in the real estate business in 1953 but only as an aide to an attorney that practiced real estate, then I became an agent in 1977 and later a broker.
