I think the Peninsula is an exciting and dynamic marketplace with a fascinating variety of home styles, price ranges, and lot sizes. We still have homes with historical significance nestled right in the heart of high-density development. It's that sort of home that gives us a sense of the past, of what the Peninsula and the Bay Area used to be. Just as our market is exciting, I find each appointment with a client gives me a thrill as I guide them along the path to finding them their dream home, a home that fulfills their sense of belonging to our community.

I've studied five languages - Finnish, Swedish, French, German, and English and I also know a little bit of Spanish. I spent my youth in my home country of Finland. My family moved to Vancouver, B.C and from there we immigrated to the U.S where I completed my education. Since moving to the U.S., I've lived in the state of Washington, close to Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, Washington D.C., Miami, and Phoenix and I now reside in the San Francisco Peninsula area.

In addition to living in several different cities in the U.S., I've also traveled around the world extensively. In 1992, I spent one year in the Orient, based in Bangok, Thailand while traveling to Hong Kong, Bali, India and many other sites in that area. In 1997, I moved to Hong Kong for 3 years while working on Real Estate and import sales to China. During my stay in Hong Kong, I traveled to Cambodia, Burma (Myanmar), Taiwan, Philippines, as well as making frequent trips to Macau, China and Thailand. After departing Hong Kong, I traveled around the world for 10 months - snorkeling in the Barrier Reef in Australia, spending 4 months in Southern India, seeing 4 safari parks in Kenya, then taking a trip down the Nile in Egypt, touring Istanbul, Turkey and the Blue Mosque, Venice, Italy, going to Spain to see flamenco dancing in Seville and finally finishing my unbelievable adventure by visiting the Fez, Marraskesh, Casablanca and Essaura in Morocco.
