Scott Bekemeyer is responsible for evaluating and implementing partner opportunities for ZipRealty, with a focus on complementary consumer categories such as mortgages, title, insurance, and home warranty.

Bekemeyer brings both real estate and operational experience with service-driven, multi-location firms to his responsibilities at ZipRealty. He joined ZipRealty in 2005 after developing mortgage strategies for Zillow, a consumer-focused, internet residential real estate company. Prior to joining Zillow, he was founder and principal of McGilvra Capital Corporation, a private equity investment firm. As part of his responsibilities there, Bekemeyer served as president of two fire protection companies with multi-state operations. Prior to forming McGilvra Capital, he co-founded and served as CFO of Sierra Expressway, a low-fare commuter airline which offered service to regional destinations from Oakland.

Scott Bekemeyer earned an M.B.A. from Stanford's Graduate School of Business and A.B. degrees in Economics and English from Stanford University.
