David Rector
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Rector is responsible for the financial reporting, treasury, compliance and accounting functions of ZipRealty. Mr. Rector joined ZipRealty as Vice President/Controller in 2002, was appointed Chief Accounting Officer in 2004 and promoted to Senior Vice President in 2006.
Prior to joining ZipRealty, Mr. Rector held senior financial positions in the real estate, financial services, and internet/high tech industries with companies that include Insignia Commercial, Allegiance Realty Group (American Express), Lowe Enterprises and Trusthouse Forte Limited.
A CPA, Mr. Rector spent his early professional career as an audit manager with Price Waterhouse in their Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles.
