As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Rector is responsible for financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations of ZipRealty.

Prior to joining ZipRealty in 2002, Mr. Rector held senior financial positions in the real estate, financial services, and internet/high tech industries, including Insignia Commercial, Allegiance Realty Group (American Express), Lowe Enterprises and Trusthouse Forte Limited.

A CPA, Mr. Rector spent his early professional career as an audit manager with Price Waterhouse in their Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles.
