Senior Vice President of Sales
Robert (Bob) Yakominich joined ZipRealty, Inc. in August 2007 as Senior Vice President of Sales. Mr. Yakominich received a Bachelors of Business Administration in 1980 from Bernard Baruch College. In 1998, he obtained a Masters of Business Administration from the University of San Francisco. Throughout his career, he has been a proven leader with experience in internet marketing solutions, account management and revenue enhancement as well as having extensive knowledge of direct sales and marketing, re-engineering, strategy planning, project coordination, budgeting, career development, training and client relations.
In 1984 he joined the American Express Company as a Corporate Sales Manager. Mr. Yakominich spent 13 years with American Express and eventually became Vice President & General Manager of their Western region. In 1997, he joined Citysearch.com, then a division of Ticketmaster Corporation as the Executive Vice President of Sales. His responsibilities included national promotion and major client sales as well as telemarketing, sales quotas, compensation, reward and recognition, design and execution. Revenues increased five fold during his tenure.
In 2003, Mr. Yakominich left Citysearch to join The Reiser Group, taking the position of Vice President of Sales with responsibility for an outsourced sales model that delivered all aspects of sales and marketing to small to medium sized new home builders. In addition to participating in new business development presentations to key prospects, Mr. Yakominich was also responsible for handling sales training, compensation, marketing budgets, and the staffing of field sales teams. Under his guidance, revenues doubled each year from 2003 to 2007.
